Report: Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates Wins Arch Design Competition
The website urbanstl.com is reporting that the design team headed up by Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates (MVVA) has beat out four other finalists to recreate the St. Louis Arch Grounds.
According to the website, MVVA got a call last week congratulating them on winning the competition. The winner is to be publicly announced on Friday. MVVA's proposal was largely seen as one of the more feasible proposals among the finalists. Below is a brief YouTube video of their proposal.
