It wasn't even close. Rupert Murdoch collected three times as many votes as any other candidate this weekend to earn him the title of Daily RFT Ass Clown of the Week.
Sixty percent of voters thought the media mogul worthy of the honor after his Fox News sued Democrat Robin Carnahan's senatorial campaign last week for using an interview from the broadcaster. The clip showed G.O.P. senate candidate Roy Blunt being questioned about his romance with a tobacco lobbyists and his ties to Jack Abramoff. Carnahan continues to air the commercials despite the lawsuit.
Second place, with 18 percent of the vote, went to Zachery Huntsman, the man who was allegedly drunk and texting when he plowed his car into a home last week in southwestern Illinois.
