Latunya Wright and Annkesha Welch: Latest Suspects Indicted for ATM Solutions Robbery

Prosecutors say Ms. Wright done wrong, may have to forfeit her Hummer.

The United States Attorney's Office announced this afternoon that a grand jury has indicted two St. Louis area women in connection with the armed robbery of ATM Solutions that netted thieves several million dollars in cash.

According to prosecutors, Latunya Wright and Annkesha Welch assisted in concealing substantial amounts money from the August 2 bank heist.

Wright allegedly concealed some of the stolen money at her house on Page Avenue. Prosecutors say that she and Welch then transported some of the loot to Atlanta, Georgia to hide it in a storage locker there.

Wright is reportedly the girlfriend of John Wesley Jones, the St. Louis man arrested the day after the robbery with hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash in the trunk of his Dodge Charger.

Latunya Wright, 36, and Welch, 29, are each charged with one felony count of conspiracy to transport stolen currency valued at more than $5000 in interstate commerce, and one felony count of interstate transportation of stolen currency valued at more than $5000. Additionally, they are charged with a forfeiture count, which, if convicted, will require the forfeiture of property derived from proceeds traceable to the offenses charged in the indictment. Subject to forfeiture is one 2005 Hummer H2 vehicle and approximately $612,980.

If convicted, the conspiracy count carries a maximum penalty of five years prison and/or fines up to $250,000; interstate transportation of stolen goods carries a maximum penalty of ten years in prison and/or fines up to $250,000.
