More on Tom and Beth Boggs -- Attorneys Targeted in South City Bombing
Two pipe bombs blew up shortly after 1 a.m. October 1 outside the home of Tom and Beth Boggs, the husband and wife law partners that operate the Clayton-based practice Boggs, Avellino, Lach & Boggs. In recent years their Clayton-based law firm has mirrored John Grisham's The Firm with allegations of bizarre deaths, brutal working conditions and questionable billing practices.
Four years ago Ernest Brasier, a partner in the firm, was found murdered at his desk inside the office. Two other attorneys working for the small company have since died suddenly from heart conditions. Two years ago almost to this date, Riverfront Times took an in-depth look at Ernest Brazier's mysterious homicide and some of the rumors and speculation surrounding the Boggses' law firm. May we recommend this morning: The Unsolved Murder of Ernie Brasier.
