The first BCS rankings of the season are out with the Oklahoma Sooners claiming the top spot. The Missouri Tigers also scored impressively high on the list, coming in at No. 11 after the team's road victory Saturday at Texas A&M.

Question is: Can Mizzou knock Oklahoma off its perch this Saturday? The two undefeated teams square off at 7 p.m. in Columbia in a game broadcast nationwide on ABC. The spread on the game has yet to be fixed, but you gotta figure that the Sooners will come in as the favorites -- probably with around a 7-point advantage.

Says Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops of this coming weekend's contest and the BCS ranking: "It means absolutely nothing...We're going up to play a 6-0 team at Missouri, and they're not handing anything out right now."

P.S. It's Mizzou's homecoming weekend, too.
