Happy Hour of the Day: Tin Can Tavern & Grille
In this week's print edition, we rolled out the Riverfront Times' comprehensive list of the best happy hours in St. Louis. (And no, this wasn't only done as a public service to you, dear reader -- we're also promoting the very cool free smart-phone app that includes our fascinating finds.)
In conjunction with the print feature, we've chosen one truly terrific happy hour for each day of the week. So be sure to stop back at Daily RFT as the week continues; we've got two more happy hours to describe in glorious, saliva-inducing detail.Friday's Happy Hour of the Day: Tin Can Tavern & Grille
3157 Morganford Rd. St. Louis, MO 63116; 314-865-3003
| What's the best day to drink at the Tin Can Tavern? Friday! |
This Tower Grove South bar is fairly inexpensive to begin with, but every day from 3 to 7 p.m., they knock $1 off of just about every brand of beer -- and considering they've got cans of everything from Old Milwaukee Light to Boddington's, that's a shitload of beer you can try for very little money. For your snotty non-beer-drinking friends, happy hour also includes $3 well drinks and $4 glasses of wine.
Since it tends to get crowded here, you might be wise to cut out of work early. C'mon already: Yesterday was Thanksgiving; they should just be grateful you came to work.
