So, the Cardinals say they're thisclose to signing a contract for the first phase of Ballpark Village. Gee, where have we heard that before?
In other news, today we discovered an alternative plan for Ballpark Village, just in case the latest plan fizzles. It comes courtesy of Bush Stadium in Indianapolis where city officials have turned the old Negro League field into an auto salvage yard.
In St. Louis we could call it Ball "Park and Walk Away" Village. Da ding, ching!
