Busch Stadium to Get Wrigley Field Experience: Nearby Rooftop Bar

Okay, so it's not exactly a four-story brownstone. And it's not located right across the street from the action, but hey, it's as close as we've got to Wrigleyville rooftops in St. Louis.

The downtown hotel St. Louis Hilton at the Ballpark announced this week its plans to add a rooftop bar atop its 20-story property. The bar -- expected to cost $7 million -- will offer views inside Busch Stadium and panoramic, 360-degree views of downtown St. Louis. The St. Louis Business Journal has additional deets on the project, including architectural renderings.

One consideration though: The new plans for Ballpark Village -- calling for a 13-story building between Busch Stadium and the Hilton would likely block the views of the baseball game from the hotel bar. But then, that's when -- if -- Ballpark Village becomes a reality.

I bet the beer is still several bucks cheaper on this fancy-smancy rooftop that at the stadium.
