Katrina Childress: Missouri Mother Moves to Texas With Her Kids and Teen Sex/Text Buddy

According to the Ft. Worth Star-Telegram, Katrina Childress began a relationship with a 16-year-old who accidentally texted her last year. The two -- who live just thirty miles from each other in southeastern Missouri -- continued to communicate. The teen ran away from home January 3.
The newspaper reports that Childress allegedly packed the runaway teen in her car -- along with her seven- and eleven-year-old children -- and drove to the Dallas area.
Police running license plates at an airport hotel in Ft. Worth saw that Missouri authorities wanted the driver of the car for questioning regarding the runaway.
Childress is in jail on charges of having sex with the minor, unlawful restraint and endangering a child. Bond is set at $65,000.
The teen is back home in Missouri. Childress' children are in the custody of the Child Protective Services.
