The place to be tonight for informed citizens and/or policy wonks.
What's that you say? You're looking for some quality (free) entertainment tonight and you're unclear where you stand on April's election over the St. Louis earnings tax?

Well, do I have an event for you!

Swing by the Old Post Office (815 Olive) at 6:30 p.m. for a forum on the earnings tax hosted by the League of Women Voters of St. Louis. Panelists include Mayor Francis Slay; city comptroller Darlene Green; Nancy Cross of the SEIU; and Mark Montovani, CEO of St. Louis-based NSI Marketing.

Yours truly (joined by Post-Dispatch editorial scribe Eddie Roth and UMSL poli-sci professor Andrew Glassberg) will serve as respondents asking the panelists questions.

Former Governor Bob Holden will give closing remarks. See you there.
