I Can Has Cheezcat at SXSW

What hath the internets wrought? Mostly, hilarious cats. And now, they've been rendered in cheese. Really, why not?

This weekend at South by Southwest, Austin's annual music and technology conference, St. Louis-based Friskies cat food unveiled an enormous (640 pound) statue, made of cheese, commemorating some of the Internet's finest cats at a party hosted by I Can Has Cheezburger, the online home of all things LOLcat.

The pet food giant partnered with the grammar-shunning web site because, um, they are rolling out new cat food that incorporates cheese. It's called Tasty Treasures, and we're sure it is just delicious. Neat. Congrats, cats.

But really, if you want to carve giant cats out of cheese, there is absolutely no need to justify yourselves with us. Well done, Friskies!
