Tommie Johnson: St. Louis Homicide No. 20; Found Dead in Vacant Lot

The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department yesterday identified the man killed Saturday night in the 5500 block of Labadie (below) in north city.
Authorities responded to the area around 8 p.m. on March 12 after receiving a report of gunshots in the area. Tommie Johnson, a 48-year-old resident of the neighborhood, was found lying dead in a vacant lot. He'd been shot once in the head. Police say they're pursuing a strong lead in the case.
