The Poetry of Objects Highlights This Weekend's Art Openings

Jane Birdsall-Lander uses found objects in her art, creating wall sculptures inspired by pictographs and ideographs. Her newest installation, The Poetry of Objects, opens this Friday at Duane Reed Gallery. More details on this event -- and many more exhibits -- after the jump.

Brothers and Sisters, a Family of Artists: Jack and Margaret McGauley moved to St. Louis in 1952 and raised eight children in Richmond Heights. Many of those children became artists.
