Bikers In Joplin Chase Off Religious Protester; But Was Man With Westboro Baptist Church?

A religious protester back pedals as hundred of counter-demonstrators give chase Sunday.
Have you seen the video yet of the bikers in Joplin chasing off the protester purported to be affiliated with the Westboro Baptist Church?

The incident occurred Sunday when President Barack Obama was in Joplin to take in the devastation from last week's deadly tornado. Also scheduled to make an appearance that day were were members of the Westboro Baptist Church, who last week issued a press release thanking God for the 120-plus fatalities in Joplin and announcing a protest of the "beast antichrist" (a.k.a. Obama).

Here's a that shaky YouTube clip showing police escorting the religious protester away from an angry mob. In the background, bikers on hand to counter-protest the Westboro Baptist Church can be heard revving their engines.

But was the protester really a member of the Westboro Baptist Church?

According to the Joplin Globe, the answer is "no." The newspaper reports that the Westboro Baptist Church failed to arrive in Joplin on Sunday. The man chased from the scene Sunday was apparently a freelance proselytizer from Arkansas -- and not from Westboro's home camp of Topeka, Kansas -- who was mistakenly shepherded into the area reserved for the Westboro Baptist Church.

After being escorted away from the scene, police reportedly drove the man to the county line.

The county line? What is this? Rambo?

WBc is not a "church", it is a hate group.  In it for the press and the money.

It isimpiety, and almost blasphemy to presume to know the will of God. It comes fromthe sin of pride.  We must submit tobeing used by God's will without knowing what it is. They must never seek touse it.

Surely those are Obama-approved jack booted thugs, not bikers.  Real Americans would join in and support that poor believer, not shout him down.

That young protestor from AK is the son of an all-American star -- military vet, retired DEA agent, community leader, and Patriot Guard member -- who actually opposes WBC. That don't matter though, cuz NOBODY gets to say God might be angry with your sins in Joplin and MO! NOBODY gets to put any words of God on YOUR landscape, unless they're lies or they're FILLED with apologies. How shameful!

This shameful display of raw violence and brutish management of the scene (by police) as well as the sloppy "reporting" by those who pretend to love truth and freedom demonstrates that it is not WBC that enrages this generation of Doomed americans ... it's God's unchanging standard that condemns their gross policies of sin and promises (with demonstrations for all the world to see) just punishment for them. YAY!

The cops probably did that asshole a favor by taking him to the county line. Most likely saved the asshole a real beat down.

Wow - So Brian and Handsome are the only people on here with a brain....

the rest MUST be the Westboro "attorneys" masquerading like religious people so that they can sue and finance their lifestyles, all under the non-taxable income of their "church".   Sweet!
