St. Louis Native To Star in Upcoming NBC Prime-time Drama, "Grimm"

Late last week, NBC made an intriguing addition to its Fall 2011 lineup: "Grimm," a dark crime drama in which a detective (to be played by Giuntoli) comes to see himself as a protector of humans against the modern-day "beast/animals" of Grimm's Fairy Tales.
The show's creators, David Greenwalt (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and Jim Kouf (Ghost Whisperer) haven't gotten much more specific than that.
Historical/Literary Aside: Disney has probably familiarized you with the gist of many Grimm fairy tales such as Snow White and Cinderella , but the original versions from the early 1800s were WAY more violent and mysterious; for a taste, click here.
