Medical Marijuana Bill Goes Up In Smoke In Illinois

medical marijuana 2.jpg
Illinois won't become the sixteenth state in the nation to pass a medical-marijuana law.

The bill faced steep opposition from law-enforcement officials, who argued before the Legislature that the law would give people without legitimate medical needs easier access to the drug.
