Harris and Moore: Will they "fry" for their crime?
Police in Lincoln believe they may have busted the criminal outfit responsible for stealing thousands of gallons of used grease from restaurants in Nebraska and Illinois.

The duo from Missouri was arrested around 2 a.m. yesterday driving a tanker truck that reeked of stale french fries. Cindy Harris, 34, of Everton, apparently works at grease company in Missouri. Her accomplice, Jesse Moore, 36, hails from Springfield.

The two reportedly admitted stealing grease from a barrel outside a Japanese restaurant. The Omaha World-Herald reports that unknown thieves recently stole 4,200 pounds of grease from six Lincoln fast-food restaurants, including a Taco Bell and Dairy Queen.

Used cooking oil can be converted to bio-diesel petrol. The price for such fuel generally skyrockets when gas prices are high -- as they are now.
