Bob Costas, Tim McCarver and New York Times writer George Vecsey joined interviewer Charlie Rose on Monday to discuss the legacy of Stan Musial and -- specifically -- how the Cardinals' great doesn't get the respect he deserves outside of St. Louis.

Ironically, though, one of the few places where viewers couldn't see the Charlie Rose show that night was St. Louis. KETC (Channel 9) preempted the show for pledge programming. Sports-media columnist Dan Caesar has more details on the hometown snub. KETC plans to re-air the show this Monday.

You can watch it even earlier here.

KETC did air the program. Usually Charlie Rose airs at 11:30pm after the BBC World News. During the pledge drive Charlie Rose is bumped to 1:30am. I watched it.
