Today's comment comes in response to a comment made yesterday on a story about a pair of soldiers who were mugged while in St. Louis this week for "Marine Week." Jeff Rainford, chief of staff for Mayor Francis Slay, has said that the Marines were drunk during the incident and had changed their story a couple times.
That prompted reader "Msrdls" to write: "Mr Rainford will do anything in an attempt to preserve the image of an extremely dangerous, dying city. RIP, St Louis!"

Msrdls, Rainford is a clown I will give you that. Yet while you chortle online there are many people who make there homes in this 'EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AND DYING CITY' (add as many exclamation points as you feel is necessary) who work and fight for our neighborhoods while twisted fucks like yourself celebrate any news that you feel justifies your extreme cowardice when it comes to making a difference to save what could be a beautiful city if more of us cared. It's a real shame so many people like you are gutless turds or simply don't give a fuck. It;s a real tragedy that so many more feel such a humorous need to dance on what they feel is the grave for this city. So to you I say enjoy living in plastic house crackerland, that is until you feel the urgent need to move quickly because a black family moves onto your block. Pussy.
