It's Effing Hot in St. Louis, National Weather Service Confirms

Categories: Environment
The thermometer today could reach into the triple digits for the first time this year, leading the National Weather Service to place St. Louis under an extreme heat warning through Tuesday evening.

Temperatures today could reach as high 102 degrees and 98 degrees tomorrow, according to the agency. Couple that with 50 percent humidity, and the heat index will make it feel as hot as 115.

So, you know the drill: Stay in air-conditioned spaces. Drink plenty of water. Or, just man up and sweat. It will all be over come Wednesday, when the high temperature returns to the mid-80s.
