Ronald Wilcox: St. Louis Homicide No. 73; Shot Dead Outside Clinton-Peabody Projects

A south-county man was found dead early Saturday morning in the 1100 block of South 14th Street (below) just south of downtown St. Louis and adjacent to the Clinton-Peabody Housing Project.

According to St. Louis police, 37-year-old Ronald Wilcox was shot in the back and discovered face down on a sidewalk. He was pronounced dead at the scene around 3:30 a.m. July 9.

Wilcox lived in the 400 block of Kingston Drive in the Lemay area of south St. Louis County. An investigation is ongoing. Just three weeks ago, another man, Anthony Eanes Jr., was gunned down in the same block of South 14th Street.
