Trial of Tea Party Hero Kenneth Gladney Could Boil Down to Best Actor

• Keep grasping at straws.  You're going to wait a long, long, long time to pop that popcorn.

• Not true.  Gladney's statements on this have been inconsistent from the beginning and the prosecution had no good evidence suggesting that SEIU started the fight.

• Actually, there's no evidence that SEIU started the fight or that there was a "beating."  Please learn to think and evaluate for yourself rather than just believing what you are told!

• The problem, Mika, is that there's no evidence that SEIU started the fight or "beat the snot" out of Gladney.  You were told to believe this by Breitbart or others and are failing to use your critical thinking abilities.

• This is technically true, but I was at the trial and Hoft's claim was ludicrous BS.  The people in the photo were staring at a crazy tea partier taking photos of them.  Namely: Jim Hoft.  The judge, prosecutor, and court officials were walking through the hallway the whole time; the claim that anyone was "intimidating" the Gladney family is a joke.

• I need a list of all businesses that use SIUE employees. I don't want to spend my money with any affiliated SIUE union shop on my frequent buying trips to Market Street in St. Louis and the surrounding area including hotels, restaurants, and tourist attractions. My only way to voice my opinion on the Gladney outrage is an economic boycott. You don't want my Tea Party money than fine, I'll make sure you don't get any of it.

• So they admitted to beat him, but their defense was basically "this was OK since he was selling wrong staff". And they were acquitted? Sad day for the 1st amendment and the US justice. Say again, what is wrong with Assad's or Mubarak thugs beating anti-government demonstrators?

• Shriver writes for St. Louis Activist Hub. Jim Hoft writes for Gateway Pundit. I doubt they would agree on many things.

This is a non-sequitur.  It can be the case that both the testimony was damaging for Gladney and the SEIU was engaging in intimidation.

• "The second witness, Sandra Himes, told jurors that she heard McGowan call Gladney the n-word, which seems a bit unusual seeing how both McCowan and Gladney are both black." Why would that be unusual?  It wouldn't even be unusual for a friendly conversation.

• There seems to be no controversy as to whaat happened, two 250 lb SIEU thurs beat up a 167 lb person with whom they agreed.  The controversy,  and the verdict, appears to center on whether it was justified, and the verdict says it was.  Apparently it is now justice to beat the crap out of anybody who disagrees with Carnahans henchmen.

• And yet no one mentions that the video in question only shows the fighting at the end of the event, not showing the begining or middle. Typical modern journalism.
