The legal troubles continue for East St. Louis native Darius Miles.

Miles, 29, was arrested yesterday at Lambert St. Louis International Airport for trying to bring a loaded gun onto a flight. The Post-Dispatch reports that Miles was booked into the St. Louis County jail in Clayton around 8:30 p.m. for unlawful use of a weapon. He was released around 9:15 p.m. without a bond.

Miles was drafted into the NBA straight out of East St. Louis High School as the No. 3 overall pick in 2000. He never did live up to his potential, though, partly due to injury.

Miles last played for the Memphis Grizzlies in 2009 after stints in Portland, Cleveland and Los Angeles (with the Clippers). In 2009 Miles was pulled over in Fairview Heights for a traffic violation and found to have marijuana in his vehicle. And, speaking of vehicles, Miles made a name for himself for some of his incredibly pimped out rides.

He now lives in Swansea, Illinois.
