Right-Wing Blogger: OccupySTL is Homophobic; Not Racially Tolerant Like the Tea Party

Adam Sharp: Don't let the big hat fool ya, this guy has razor wit and slice-and-dice elbows.
It's just not fair. As Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter and other speakers-of-the-truth have noted, the lame-stream media isn't criticizing Occupy Wall Street like they did the Tea Party. They're not calling the "occupiers" what they really are: a bunch of Nazis and trust-fund parasites.

Leave it, then, to St. Louis right-wing blogger Adam Sharp to take up the cause on the local level. Sharp, who's made a name for himself in recent years harassing KTVI reporter Charles Jaco and stalking an UMSL professor, infiltrated the OccupySTL movement last week in Kiener Plaza.

For those unaware, Sharp's M.O. is to point a camera at a person and then taunt them into doing or saying something unflattering that he can edit without context and place on his blog, sharpelbows.net.

In so doing, Sharp has come up with indisputable proof (below) that the Occupy movement is composed of "violent homophobic thugs" and those out to smear the Tea Party for being racially intolerant.

Here's proof of the homophobia, in which Sharp says an elderly man called him a "faggot."

And here's video of Sharp schooling OccupySTL demonstrators on how the Tea Party is not at all racist because once he, himself, chased a man with a swastika T-shirt from a patriot rally.

Finally, in this video clip Sharp pretends to be part of the Occupy movement in order to address/mock the crowd.

Actually, I got to give him points for that last clip. It shows some creativity. Meanwhile, fellow St. Louis right-wing blogger, Jim Hoft, is lapping up all Sharp's videos, writing on Gateway Pundit how the occupiers "harassed an independent journalist."

The Supreme Court and the Republican Party have no problem with calling organized money a person while displaying great antipathy toward the idea of organized workers. Success of this bias can only result in high unemployment low growth economies. The only way to add value to anything is through work and high unemployment low wage economies waste the opportunity to create wealth and reduce economic demand. The only way for workers to glean a fair share of the value that they add through their work effort is to have a balance of power between themselves and the CEO’s who have been grossly overcompensating themselves because they have the unchecked power to do so. The current trajectory of the US economy is headed for either political or violent revolution. Hopefully the former. It is only a matter of time before WalMart parking lots will be Occupied.

From the General Assembly passed this morning:  http://www.occupystl.org/2011/...

The process is slower because we want to make sure that everyone's voice is heard in drafting language, discussion and decision making.  We want to mean what we put out and make sure everyone is committeed to enact it!

!!!!Yaaaaaawn!!!!

I see the left/right paradigm is on display here.

Bushbots and Obamatons - you can't kill them and they won't sign on to fight in the jew's wars. I guess the jews are just going to have to implement a draft and scoop all you dumbshits up and send you off to die in another of their wars before you'll finally get it.

homophobic - typical jew trick to try and derail another movement

The pseudo-intellectual & enlightened Left ...they can barely verbalize a coherent idea.  What's most apparent is that they've totally bought into President Soetoro's class warfare.  Saul Alinsky's Lucifer must be clapping his hands with delight.

Is does strike me as hypocritical that these guys are protesting huge corporations, like any car company, Apple, Microsoft, Facebook or Twitter.....yet without their use of the goods/services of the aforementioned mega-corps, they would have no way to coordinate or attend said protest.

I hope the protest attendees had the courage of their convictions to quit their jobs at any corporation they may have worked at before attending. If not then they are protesting themselves, which is counterproductive

lifestudentno83
lifestudentno83

First of all, protesters are not protesting "huge corporations". BIG misconception. They are opposed to the abusive control of the economy by the federal reserve and banking corporations by proxy. The banks themselves aren't even the real problem but rather the privatization of banks and the displacement of wealth in the hands of the few are two of the big issue the Occupy movement is about. I would hope you could at least educate yourself before blurting out the same right-wing shill that is shoveled out from Fox News.

"Sharp, who's made a name for himself in recent years harassing KTVI reporter Charles Jaco and stalking an UMSL professor..." You left out torpedoing the re-election of Rep. Phil Hare. Drat those contexts.

ramv36
ramv36

You mean Phil "no, the Constitution DOESN'T matter" Hare?

Seeing as he had no respect for the document his position solely exists to defend, why should he have been elected?

lifestudentno83
lifestudentno83

Lawl... you mean Adam "Jackpot Brother" Sharp took someone's words out of context to make them look bad and then made gullible people like yourself believe he said the constitution doesn't matter?

If you don't believe me you can listen to it again.

That's the point, and kind of annoying it was left out of his resume above. If Adam ever starts putting feathers in his cap, that oughta be a big one in it. "Gold". ;-)

Considering it hasn't been hijacked by the jews to serve their interests yet, no wonder the name calling is flying.

Anyone that calls Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter "speakers of truth" cannot possibly be taken seriously. Not sure who is the bigger idiot, Adam Sharp or the writer of this convoluted piece of garbage called writing.

ramv36
ramv36

I would say the bigger idiot is the reader who cannot see that this column was written with a left-slant and that the 'speakers of truth' phrase, though true, was used in mocking satire.

One day after much practice you will realize that the majority of what is written doesn't actually show in print, but is between the lines...

Julie
Julie

Yeah, I doubt that.

You do kind of seem like an idiot. The writer is being sarcastic.

I'm the bigger idiot for having common sense? Lol, you conservatives really are afraid of being wrong.

I noticed the guy Sharp said was homophobic was carrying a sign about "the Fed," so if his goal was to attack liberals it probably failed.  On the other hand, Sharp and the astroturf tea party also hate true libertarians and Ron Paul supporters, so maybe that's not a problem for him.

ramv36
ramv36

According to those I've spoken to on the left recently, they believe that Ron Paul was the founder of the Tea Party. I had to correct them though, as I don't really see such a fringe-beliefs guy as Paul a good fit for my Tea Party.

I will be voting for a Black man in 2012 though, Herman Cain.....unless he's not black enough for you guys.

GJPinks
GJPinks

You don't know Tea. there are lots of Paul supporters in the Tea Party. Sorry that you are so uninformed.

Can't agree with this dude at all...based on the videos isolated incidents does not an entire group define.

However, based on an article and photos that ran in the dailymail today I'm very concerned and upset at these occupy protests (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/new....  It is becoming apparent they are being hijacked by anarchists, misanthropes, and troublemakers of all sorts and not just in New York.  Protest is necessary in a democracy but for many people protest of any and everything having to do with authority is a way of life.  It is important to recognize that many of these people of generally discontented with everything and cause disturbance for solely purile reasons.  In the news I've recognized several of our wonderful local anarchist misanthropes from Cherokee St. down in Keiner Plaza and they're not to be trusted!!

These people contribute nothing and have the ability to disenchant and damage the message and the protest organizers should do everything they can to marginalize and get rid of them in New York or elsewhere.  Throw the fake-activists out!

One person calls him a faggot and the whole group is homophobic? Wow. This Adam Sharp dude is a fucking moron, I refuse to watch any of these videos.

GJPinks

So you refuse to be educated. Thank you for demonstrating your purposeful ignorance.

Douche_McGee
Douche_McGee

You're right - I'm a complete ignoramus for not being "educated" by a guy that is just there to start shit, and thinks people with an opinion that isn't in line with his own are morons and racists because he singled out one wack job rather than talk about ideas like a human being. If his ideas were good he wouldn't need resort to his childish tactics. Do he think there aren't any racist/homophobic right-wingers?

And if he thinks the only uninformed people are on the opposite side of the fence, he's a bigger moron than I expected. How about going out and showing how both sides have MANY uninformed people or trying to get people informed on all the facts of both sides instead of just the ones that suit his agenda? I doubt he would do that because he might end up convincing people to see it a way he doesn't want them to, and it's much easier to do shitty videos like these while pretending to be a journalist.

lifestudentno83
lifestudentno83

Sigh... It's like talking to a brick wall. There are misinformed and misguided people in both the tea party and occupy movement. It's inevitable. You are marginalizing them based on one or two people in a video made to smear the whole movement. This has also been done with the tea party.

ramv36
ramv36

Why not? It's worked for the left so well so far...

Douche_McGee
Douche_McGee

So because one side is a moron, the other side should be just as dumb?

It's no wonder this country is headed to the toilet then. Why compromise on ideas when you can just tank the whole thing and try to blame the other side for the failure. Awesome.

Oh you mean just like the MSM has done to the entire Tea Party movement since its inception. Sucks don't it.

Must have taken the Breitbart traning course. Why does the right wing only have lies to try to make their case?? Faux Noise and Hate Radio is their medium of choice.

What lies? Or are you related to that homophobic hater in the first clip?

This guy is such a tool.
