The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Missouri announced today that Larry Newman has been sentenced to 294 months in federal prison for his role in the August 2010 armed robbery of ATM Solutions, as well as the kidnapping of two juvenile girls -- family members of his co-conspirators -- at gunpoint in a plot to extort more money of out of the deal. The $6.6 million heist in midtown was the largest in St. Louis history.

Newman, 20, in June pleaded guilty to charges of armed robbery, kidnapping and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence.

Earlier this year, two other men who staged the heist -- John Wesley Jones, 36, and Ryechine Money, 33 -- were sentenced to 32 and 19.5 years in prison, respectively.
The case of a fourth suspected robber, Aaron Hassan Johnson, 21, who is already in prison for an unrelated crime, is ongoing.
