• i just read a lot of these comments and most of them tell me that there are a lot of disturbed people out there. i don`t take to heart everything JC says or anyone else for that matter. what`s wrong with you people?  and what the hell does twitter have to do with a radio station? i had to search to find out WHAT is happening here.  I am annoyed that jc and trish aren`t on the air... and could NOT give a rats ass in hell whats on twitter.  it was NOT on the RADIO SHOW. who is in charge at ktrs? 7th graders?   i`ll listen to steve and the ivside out show.....and once in a while franks show... KTRS should be more concerned about the QUALITY of their stupid comercials than bicker about crap that has nothing to do with on AIR SHOWS... ktrs should bring back JC AND TRISH and be happy to have their entertainment....YES YOU IDIOTS...ITS ENTERTAINMENT....AND IT WAS WORTHWHILE ENTERTAINMENT.   oh, and Jc, stop paying any attention to the mentally ill out there... there is way to many of them. 

• JC is certainly not my cup of tea for radio listening. His comments on twitter do not surprise me. Gutter mouth is probably the way he is in everyday life. KTRS lost me as a listener in that time period a long time ago. I could not stand all the inuendos of sex , he was downright nasty about his comments about other people. His mean spirited comments seemed to be only enjoyed by Trish, she giggled at him like a little grade school girl. Hope neither one of them comes back on KTRS

• Carney, would be a great replacement.  I never understood why management put up with J.C., as long as they did?  I like "Smash", much better! J.C., needs to find another vocation, radio,is not it...Possibly a car salesman, he's really good at talking "BULL-SHIT." 

• JC is the only enjoyable person to listen to in St Louis. He is always well prepared and has a vast collection of entertaining radio highlights.

• The ability to communicate is one that defies gravity.  JC is one of the smartest Dj's working in the business today.  He has the ability to attract listeners like no one else in the St Louis market.  Advertisers note this and often use his shows to attract business.  Yet with all that working for him, he is the number one reason for his lack of employment opportunities.  He is too passionate and egotistical to leave the repartee' to others.  When he engages his critics he takes it personally and fall perilously into the same trap year after year. When he speaks to the public, he the best, when he speaks with the public he's the worst... History repeats itself and JC is the best example of this we have in St. Louis. As it's said many times, only an alcoholic will get better when he admits he has a problem, their fore to will JC!

• agree.... i use to listen to ktrs on my lunch hour,  now i just play music... he can start off telling a story about something, and after 20minutes of ME, ME, ME... he gets to what he was originally going to say. • His comments on everything bothers me...As far as I can tell by the tone of his voice, he's got some serious issues, that have nothing to do with radio, enjoyment.  I have listened to (KTRS),a long time, but when he comes on the air I change channels, to(KMOX), until he's off the air, and I will continue to do so, until he's history.  He often reminds us that he can go anywhere, because of his vast knowledge on all issues... He always mentions how he followed Stern back in NY for a couple years.  Someone, about 5 years ago, asked Stern if he knew who JC was and Stern had no clue.  When Stern was told JC was talking about him like they were friends back then, Stern said that everyone who worked at any station he ever did claimed to be friends with him but most spent their time complaining about him to the bosses, trying to get his slot.

The St. Louis area is famous for it's "white guys" stuck in the 1970's that peaked in the 80's. These are Corcoran's fan base. Roll your pack of Kools in your shirt sleeve, don your Levi's, lace up your boondockers with the red laces and listen in next week as he's back on the air continuing the drama created for your amusement.

• JC is awesome!  He is very entertaining.  How many people on the 18th sat there on pins and needles thinking that it might come true and Albert would sign?  It was a prediction, not a fact. So he missed it, it was still entertaining.  JC is a passionate person and can only sit there and take it for so long.  I don't blame him for lashing out.  It is only Twitter, the only people that really use twitter is teen's and idiots anyway.  So who cares who read what he said on Twitter. Geesh, get over it and enjoy the entertainment.

It is a slippery slope for news organizations that decide to chart this course of action.  I expected better.

• Corcoran has been an obnoxious gas bag since the late 70's when he was a DJ for KSHE. Why anyone listens to his bullshit is beyond me.  He's been fired from practically every radio station he have ever worked at during the past 35 years -  K-HITS fired him on 11-01-09 for low ratings. Suprise suprise.  In a perfect world he would be forever banned from the airwaves.

• JC has not adjusted well to his mid-day show; I. can only imagine he's still there because of his contract.  He's fine in the mornings, but he really doesn't seem to get the afternoon radio audience -- he constantly repeats the same comedy bits, same jokes, etc.  That works in the morning for commuters who listen for 15 minutes on the way to work, but in the afternoon people are tuning in for the duration.  In contrast, Steve Cochran, who preceeds JC, is really enjoyable and a breath of fresh air.  JC just seems like a staid hack in comparison.

• Who is JC Corcoran again? Wasn't he something in the 80's? Please refresh......
