I fail to see what is awkward...are you suggesting that it is incompatible to have a respect for gun ownership and respect officers that have died honorably in the line of duty?  It is not incompatible...criminals and otherwise bad people killed those officers, not the guns on the opposing page.

Your attempt to create a dichotomoy and a contradiction as failed.  The only one that sees anything wrong with that layout is you.  Get your head out of your ass.
