• What do you people have against the death penalty?  I agree with KITTY wholeheartedly!  Kill him!  It's not fair that this person gets to live out his life for free, well fed, getting an education and excercise which is allowed in prison! IT'S NOT FAIR TO THE VICTIMS, THE FAMILY OR THAT CHILD WHOSE CHILDHOOD HAS JUST BEEN STOLEN.  The money that would be spent keeps this guy in prison should be spent making sure that child doesn't turn out like dad!

• This is why family courts need to win more trust from estranged fathers. This happens all over the Western world, especially at this time of year, by men driven deranged by not having access to their children. Everyone needs to be able to make the distinction between the adult, romantic relationship and the ability to parent. Someone can be a terrible spouse but brilliant parent. Just because somebody cheated or even if there was violence between a couple, it DOES not mean they will behave that way towards their child and should automatically not have any custody or visitation for that child. If I was kept aay from my child because I wasn't a good partner to his father and I had exhausted all legal channels I'd probably kill someone too.

• The only reason it costs TEN TIMES more to execute a cold blood killer is because of the endless delays of the appeals process. It is ridiculous for twenty years to pass before the killer finally gets the needle he so clearly deserves. Now, you get your facts staight! A Gallop poll published August 30, 2011 shows a majority of frequent churchgoers - 65% - support the death penalty! And 49% of Americans think the death penalty is not imposed enough. When asked which option - life without parole or the death penalty -  is better suited for the punishment of murder, 49% opt for the former and 46% choosing the latter. So, Mike, since 65% of church-going Christians support the death penalty your premise that "any REAL Christian would not support the death penalty" is baseless and you are full of shit!

Is it worth it? HELL NO! Needles and a few drugs are soooo much cheaper and a much better way to deal with such scum.
