Hamm-O-Gram Contains No Real Ham
| Jon's also a musician of note. |
Hamm, as if you didn't know, is the star of the TV show Mad Men and a St. Louis native. He also sets ladies' hearts -- and other tender organs -- a-flutter. According to the website's FAQ section, Jon Hamm is in no way affiliated with the service.
Huh?
Hamm-O-Gram's mysterious organizers claim they just want so spread the love of Hamm to people in need of it, particularly with Valentine's Day coming up. They donate a portion of the $5 fee to A Caring Hand, a charity that helps bereaved children and families.
So your friend gets a nice surprise in the mail (an average of 3 to 5 days after you send it), a charity receives a donation and you come across as supportive and thoughtful (no comments on what the recipient comes across, but you can hazard some guesses if you like).
But what if Jon Hamm just doesn't rock your boat -- are you doomed to be bereft of mash notes delivered via a group borrowing a celebrity's likeness? No, friends; down there at the bottom of the FAQ, Hamm-O-Gram's staff urge you to be on the lookout for "Gosling-O-Grams, launching later this month!" That would be Ryan Gosling, star of movies and the genesis of one this decade's silliest memes -- and he's also easy on the eyes.
