He was murdered during a drug deal gone awry, rumors say he sold a pound of moldy weed to the killer a week prior, who then called him Thursday to order more. Upon arrival, the black male demanded his money and or/drugs in all likelihood. McGartland was then pistol whipped twice and shot twice in the chest and left for dead. This is the horrible toll that drug prohibition takes on society. The witness with him, his name is Michael Rosner, also a pike, just recently initiated. The drugs may have belonged to Michael Rosner, in fact. Pike is using his death as a publicity stunt to help their ailing fraternity, which is currently over ten thousand dollars behind on their books.
