• I went to school with Matt.. I know he would NEVER say anything lik e"Shoot me in the head" and be serious. This is disgusting.. I cant believe you are even aloud to write this.. Someone ought to shoot you in the head and get it right the first time. Matt was a wonderful soul and a wonderful person. He would always try to be friends with anyone and everyone.. never one to judge. Though he was made fun of in Highschool but immature bullies, he was loved. Rest in paradise Matt.. just know that we are still here for you and defedning you in every way. Im so sorry to the family for this slanderous behavior.. You should sue the guy who wrote this.

• To the author of this piece, this is a gross display of media perversity. Whatever happened to reporting with a conscience? Sure, Biendorff's story is totally unbelievable. If you recall the case of Greg Smith of Pacific MO, Mr. Smith beat a boy of 7yo within an inch of his life because he was "drunk", and was sent to a federal prison. Mr. Smith is Matt's half brother. So, obviously this family has had enough tragedy to last a lifetime. Matt's mom has one remaining child left, a daughter, aside from Mr. Smith, and for her sake, let's all please try and show some sympathetic empathy to this family during this horrific time. Joking about something of this nature lends nothing valuable to the conversation, and is perverse and cruel. We're ALL human, just trying to make the best of cruel world, please try and remember that when writing your pieces.
