Andy Gammon's Body Found: Bridge Worker Fell Wednesday

​The body of carpenter Andy Gammon, 35, was found in the Mississippi River late yesterday by a diver. Gammon was still tethered to the aerial man lift that he was working on at the time of his fall. The St. Clair County Coroner's office will perform an autopsy.

Gammon is the first fatality associated with the new Mississippi River Bridge project. When completed, the bridge will span 1,500 feet, making it the third largest cable-stayed bridge in the country.
