The Missouri Senate yesterday unanimously passed a bill that would allow residents to add their cell phones to the state's "No Call" list that bars solicitors from calling or texting who don't want contact from vendors.

In April the Missouri House passed House Bill 1549 in similar fashion with a 147-0 vote. The bill now awaits signature from Governor Jay Nixon who spearheaded the "No Call" list for landlines when he served as attorney general.

I entered my cell # on the no-call list with no problems years ago, why wouldn't they allow that?

Plus, I believe it's always been illegal to telemarket to cell phones because many people pay by the minute.
