Eric is a good friend of mine and i just found out about what he did. We had all classes together at UMSL and he is the most funniest, coolest. Down to earth person I know. I cant even wrap my mind around why he did this..I'm truly hurt tho. I never thought Eric would do something so horrible.. :(

This is so sad because i went to high school with both of them. My heart hurts for both of their families.

I dated eric on and off for 2 1/2 years and I knew he had anger problems but I never thought it would go this far... the few times we had fights they got to the point where he would black out" and not remember what he did.. After the first time we broke up over I told him that we can't be together if he didn't take some type of anger management classes... He joined a church group at his school and it helped alot.. but when he stopped going he went bk to his old ways... Long story short .. Eric has deep deep anger issues and needed someone to push him to get better ...... I wish it didnt have to end like this... I can't belive there really gone

I will not defend Eric action however, I must saw you all are foolishish and ignorant. I went to school with Mr.Lawson who was a scholar among many. No one ever knows what would make someone snap in anyway so to judge with littke to no knowledge of the person or situation shows your ignorance. Yes, his actions were wrong and he deserves sometype of punishment but he was MAN enough to confess his crimes.

I completely agree with James. We don't know the whole story, but who are you to say that people cannot judge him. It's not "man" of him to confess (as James said), and it does not make this situation any better. People are judging/criticizing him because of what he had done - murdered a group of innocent people (and I'm pretty sure it's hurting their friends and family). His actions lead him to where he is now. It's called consequences.
