Eight-Year-Old Finds Mobile Meth Lab Behind East Carondelet Home

The St. Clair County Drug Tactical Unit and Illinois state Police Meth Response Team were duly summoned to handle the case, and found, processed and contained a mobile meth lab deeper in the woods.
Justin Cruse, 28, was suspected of being responsible for the lab; he was currently on parole for manufacturing meth. A search of Cruse's residence turned up items used in cooking meth. He was arrested and charged with participation in methamphetamine manufacturing, unlawful possession of methamphetamine manufacturing materials and unlawful possession of methamphetamine. He's being held in lieu of $250,000 bail.
