Five-Alarm Fire in CWE; No Info Yet on Casualties

A massive fire destroyed a 197 unit-apartment building at 3949 Lindell Boulevard overnight, leaving an untold number of residents homeless. The fire department reported no serious injuries among the 160 firefighters called out to stop the blaze, but there is no information yet on the number of residents, if any, who did not make it out alive. 

The fire started at 7 p.m. Tuesday night. The cause remains unknown at this point. Video of the fire after the jump.
