Police Issue Statement on Glendale Murder-Suicide Investigation
|Catherine Murch and her children Mitchell and Mary Claire were found shot to death in the family home Monday.|
Key points in the statement:
1. Police consistently refer to the case as a "reported murder-suicide." They're not saying that's what happened, they're saying that's what was reported to them and that they're investigating it as such. Evidence gleaned in the ongoing investigation may change that, or it may not.
2. Police believe at this point that this was "an isolated incident," and that there are no indications that a suspect is at large.
