Belleville Boy Allegedly OD's on Synthetic Drugs His Brother Gave Him

Belleville Police were called to the 1000 block of Cool Valley Drive Monday evening for a reported drug overdose. The victim? A 12-year-old boy who had suffered an apparent seizure induced by him smoking the synthetic drugs his 18-year-old brother allegedly gave him.

The younger brother was taken to a St. Louis hospital for treatment and observation. The older brother was arrested on the spot, and is still in custody pending the outcome of the investigation.

That police custody is protective custody as well, because you know his mother is going to attempt to slap some sense into him at her first opportunity.
