Megan Boken, 23, a native of the Chicago area, was shot to death on Saturday afternoon near the intersection of Maryland and Taylor avenues. Witnesses told police that Boken was in her car at 2:20 p.m. when a man either exited the vehicle or opened the door and fired two shots, hitting her in the neck and chest. She was taken to an area hospital and pronounced dead. Witnesses told investigators Boken and her killer were arguing and shouting prior to the shooting.

The shooter is described as a black man in his mid-20s, 5'8'' with a thin build and short hair. Anyone with information about the murder is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 1-866-371-8477.

black people, who would have known right!!!!

Megan's friends and family said there is absolutely no way she would have known or been acquainted with the shooter. That may or may not be true. So the shooter was a black man in his mid-20's, thin with short hair. Well, that certainly narrows down the list of prospective suspects, doesn't it? That vague description fits 40,000+ young black males in St. Louis, and if the cops have nothing else to go on, the shooter will likely never be caught. RIP Megan.

From the description here and other sources...sounds like she MAY have known the killer...
