It may be muddier than expected, but it's happening as scheduled.
The rain from tropical depression Isaac is pattering softly down right now, but forecasters are predicting five inches or more before the weekend's over. And this being Labor Day weekend, there are -- or were -- a ton of festivals and events scheduled.

So what's washed out, what's pushed back and what still going on? We've got the poop after the jump.
As of 10:30 a.m. Friday morning, here's what's what.

*Midwest Wingfest at St. Clair Square in Fairview Heights
*Forks and Corks in Chesterfield, but the already once-postponed Fourth of July fireworks will now happen on September 22.

*Moonlight Ramble will now take place on September 15.

Still Happening this Weekend
*Big Muddy Blues Festival on Laclede's Landing: Some shows may be delayed or moved indoors
*THF Realty Gateway Cup Bicycle Race
*Japanese Festival at Missouri Botanical Garden
*Fall Art Fair at Queeny Park
*St. Nicholas Greek Festival at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church
*Chalk Fest in Delmar Loop: Has a rain date of September 2, check the website day of.
*Veteran's Festival in Forest Park: The parade has been canceled, more cancellations could come. Check the website frequently.

City officials saw this coming a week ago. Should have had the operators of Scotttrade Center and the five venues Kiel Opera House make them available for any event planners who did not want to simply cancel, and go home. City officials have no sense of responsibility to anyone. E,ergemcy

response can be good marketing, doesnt always have to be after a disaster.
