LOL fuck those pigs.  They are shutting down an entire fucking HIGHWAY!  Think about the inconvenience this is causing ordinary drivers.  I wish all the bikers would have followed the lead and just busted through.  There weren't enough cops to stop em.

That same Reddit post includes multiple links to a video of what they were pulled over for, and I'm thinking that next year, they should skip the roadblocks and go straight to spike strips. And if spike strips don't stop them, the year after that they should go straight to two rounds straight to the center mass, and improve the breed.

I think it's absolutely awesome to see the keystone's 'authority' evaporate right before them.

If you have someone breaking a law, society has granted LEO's the authority to make a stop and cite the person.

I don't see any evidence that setting up a roadblock to stop motorcyclists enmass like this was justified. Imagine a roadblock to setup to stop a huge group of black people traveling down the highway in Mississippi in the 50s.

@Your_Momma You need to watch the video that shows why they got pulled over! Doing wheelies down the middle of the interstate, stopping traffic for your own needs, and having 50 motorcycles cross the median into oncoming traffic then zipping up an active ONramp, risking death and imprisonment simply to shirk a $200 or less ticket....I wouldn't be surprised if these videos were being showed to state lawmakers right now in order to craft legislation to prevent this ride from happening an 11th time.

Just watch Missouri make it 'gang activity punishable by jail time' to ride with more than 5 cycles in a group. Remember, using the road by car or bike is not a right in any way, it is entirely a privilege contingent upon exercising it completely within certain established rules. http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=7b7_1348193790

@ramv36  @Your_Momma We all pay for, and share, the highways, so causing massive accidents and makin' danger for others is a dishonorable move. However, some of these riders doing stunts are incredibly skilled, like it or not. To the extent their behavior doesn't hurt anyone or stop traffic, they should be given free rein. Even if they only injure themselves, maybe the punishment fits the crime. But once they injure me or slow me down, then we have a problem.

I did see the other videos. I didn't see a single one of the drivers/motorcycles doing stunts @ that roadblock.

"Remember, using the road by car or bike is not a right in any way, it is entirely a privilege"

I've heard that phraseology used ad nauseum. Yet I know of know real basis for it to be viewed that way. I agree we need to license drivers, but to make it sound as if your governmental overlord's must grant you the privilege is beyond ridiculous. "Oh Thank You, Great and Powerful One" Is this North Korea?

Additionally, I don't see what that has to do with this. Pull over and cite the individuals breaking the law. Now the answer is to make it a gang crime to ride motorcycles with more than 5? LMAO. The highways are filled with cars and trucks, how do you define a 'group' of vehicles on the highway? Will this also be illegal for those cars and trucks? Or if you drive a car, you're exempt, as gang members don't drive cars? Will it also be a gang activity for 5 or more black people to shop at Frontenac?

@NP_DailyRFT  @ramv36  @Your_Momma You want to do stunts? RENT  ROAD.

Injure my family pulling one of those stunts on a public  road and I will rip off your head and shove pieces of your bike down your throat.

ASSHOLE.

Wait so you deride their behavior in multiple posts, but you admit to racing them over 100mph on public roads?

@NP_DailyRFT  @Your_Momma Getting on one wheel at 40mph is about as skillful as having mommy and daddy buy your bike. Skill is doing that same wheelie anywhere over 185, such as ghostrider. If I was going to have a bike rally, it wouldn't be driving through the city at 50mph doing douchebag cheapies...it would be 'Let's see if we can make it from St Charles to Columbia and back on 70 in 90 minutes or less.

Last ride of the century, I tried to get some bikers to race me in my BMW...they acted like 100+ was forbidden or something. I laugh.

My god, you're right. We can't let people assemble. it's synonymous with an intent to shoot police and burn their bodies. I see where you're coming from.

And while 'driving' is not enumerated in the constitution, enumeration of those rights does not deny that other rights exist. Driving, like walking, is a right. If you violate the laws on public roads and endanger others, through the judicial process your rights should then be restricted.

See:

You DO in fact a right to work. That doesn't mean you have a right to be given a job by the government. Those are two different concepts. You seem to struggle to see the difference, but it is clear. You also have a right to have a right to a home, healthcare services, on and on - but the government is not required to provide them.

In Many Missouri cities, yes, this is already law regardless of race. The city where I used to live, more than 5 unrealted individuals walking down the sidewalk would be stopped by police for meeting the legal definition of a gang, and broken up.Driving is not a right, any more than you have any 'right' to a job, a house, healthcare, on and on and on. If people these days had their way, shooting police and burning their bodies on youtube would be a right.
