Food fight?

A video of a chaotic brawl at the Illinois Department of Human Services in East St. Louis -- where residents were waiting on a food stamp line -- is making the rounds this week and now appears to have gotten the attention of local officials.

In the cell phone video, on full view below and first reported by KTVI, there are at least four different women involved in the brawl -- and many more gawkers. Though the footage is pretty blurry, it clearly shows several security guards struggling to break up the fight. And a lot of punching, hitting and cursing.

Here's the YouTube video. (An earlier version was taken down, but this one seems to have recently resurfaced).

As the video has been getting more hits, officials in East St. Louis are reportedly considering tightening security at that location. East St. Louis Mayor Alvin Parks tells KMOV that he may decide to add metal detectors.

As of yesterday, it appears that no arrests have been made -- but East St. Louis Police Chief Michael Floore is hoping to identify those involved.

And here's a recent KTVI segment. on the Tuesday incident.
