This is such a stupid mayor's race. We really deserve better from both candidates. We can't hold them accountable for what their supporters do. There is video evidence of Slay supporters stealing Reed signs. I won't hold that against Slay. But their lack of specifics and inability to answer some important questions is ridiculous.

Reed has appeared in St Louis Gay Local Publication "Vital Voice" he is not homophobic...Slay on the other hand is corrupt on many levels and has done MUCH damage in race relations in this city.

Like many of us, I've seen this meme in various versions over the last year, usually having fun with something in the workplace. Some better than others. Irreverent? Sure, but this one in particular, portraying the mayor as the frustrated dictator in his final days, satirically just seems to work.

So Reed supports black workers but not gays? That's pretty much all I got out of that old and played out meme. I also find it amusing that a Reed supporter is using the meme for her propaganda but will leave out the "offensive" part.
