Jay Mack, School for the Blind Teacher, Allegedly Forces Student To Touch His Crotch

Categories: Crime

He was charged with a class D felony of sexual contact with a student on public school property.

He is no longer working at the school, but will remain certified until he pleads guilty or there is a conviction, Potter says. (A background check, however, now would show these charges are pending). When the school originally did a background check before hiring him in October of 2011, he had no record.

She adds, "The safety of our students is our top priority. In this case, the system did work. We teach students to report incidents where they feel uncomfortable...and the teacher was suspended immediately."

Here's the full statement.

If this is true he should be locked in a room with the parents with absolutely no cameras.. I don't believe in taking the law in our own hands, but when it comes to child sexual assault there should be an exception. I am a victim of child sexual assault and people like this guy above deserve much worse than any man made law can dish out. Eye for an eye...

I think we should wait until he is found guilty before we start discussing that. This post is clearly forgetting that people are innocent until proven guilty. If he *IS* guilty, there needs to be some swift and powerful consequences for the huge violation of a child. However, I prefer to reserve judgement until he has been found guilty by a jury of his peers. The last sentence of this post clearly assumes guilt before the trial has even begun.
