St. Louis Police: Concealed-Carry Permit Holder Fires Shots at Five Men Trying to Rob Him

Last night, five men attempted to rob another man on the 5200 block of Goodfellow Boulevard, St. Louis police say.

When the man refused to give up his belongings, one of the suspects reportedly pulled out a gun and fired at him.

The victim, however, also had a gun on him -- and began firing back.

Miraculously, it would seem, police report that "no one involved was struck by gunfire."

The incident took place last night around 9 p.m.

Police say the suspects are five unknown black males.

The victim has a concealed-carry weapons permit, police note.

The victim stated the suspects attempted to rob him. When he refused, one of the suspects fired a gun at him. The victim, who has a CCW permit, produced a handgun and fired several shots at the suspects. The suspects then fled the scene. No one involved was struck by the gunfire. The investigation is ongoing.
