Missouri Rancher Discovers Three Mutilated Cows; UFO Group Investigating Alien Theory

The most recent victim.
Lyn Mitchell, a Missouri rancher living about 80 miles from Kansas City, has reported three cow deaths on her property. That wouldn't be unusual were it not for the state the carcasses were found in.

The most recent cow was discovered in the field, her tongue removed, her teats cut off, her heart removed and dangling outside of her body. When the rancher moved her, there was a strange, char-like pattern in the dead grass.

What does all this mean? One theory: alien experimentation.

Here is Mitchell being interviewed by reporter/investigator Margie Kay for the Mutual UFO Network. This is case number 49159, "possible UFO landing site":

Here's more from Kay's report, emphasis ours:

The vet said that there was no blood on the ground, the cuts were precise, and that the heart and chest cavity had little blood in them, which was very unusual and unexplainable. He vet also said that he knew animals did not cause the wounds. He looked for bullet holes or other injuries to the cow but could find none, and he does not know the cause of death.

Mitchell says she's found two of her other bovines in similar states. One had her entire udder, anus and tongue removed. In 2011, she says, she found a heifer calf with her tongue, genitalia and jaw muscle removed.

KSHB

Mitchell told news station KSHB that she's open to the possibility that these bizarre surgeries were performed by aliens who touched down on her property. Daily RFT would like to posit a slightly more plausible but equally worrisome solution: A total freaking psycho is loose in Henry County and he/she is now the proud owner of cow cadaver anus, udder, tongue and teats and doing who knows what with them.

To that end, we put in a call to the Henry County sheriff's department to find out what they have in terms of human leads -- we'll update if we hear back.

I witnessed something I've never seen again till this day in the sky outside of Hecker Il which is about a 45 min ride into St Louis, Mo. I'm from St Louis. A friend and I were riding back roads n pulled over because he had to go to the bathroom, he called to me to look at this as I got out of his truck there were 3 enlingated white lite things hovering in one area of sky they were very bright n I remember thinking this because it was daylight out still it was odd to me how bright they were, well one of them shot out away from the other two so fast that it seemed to have vanished then outa no where it was back the 3 things move fast as hell, a few times then were gone like they vanished into thin air. Have never seen anything like it again and have never figured out what the heck it was.

"Daily RFT would like to posit a slightly more plausible but equally worrisome solution: A total freaking psycho" yet another immature moron who didn't bother researching the history of or traits of mutilations. No one has ever been caught idiot, and yeah, they didn't consider it might have been done by humans dur. And if they did, so what? What's that going to do? Cause magic? Stupid psycho.

It should also be stated that the only known investigative "source" on this matter was a county vet, and a so-called investigator involved with the Mutual UFO Network. Which means in short that this alone shows investigative bias all around because the investigator in question lacks any true objectivity in the matter and went into the case with hopes and expectations that the claims were true. Such partiality often means that the investigator will see proofs that do not exist in reality to verify his/her own expectations.

The removal of eyes, tongue, udder, teats, anus and jaw tissues is the result of insect consumption. Flies, maggots and ants eat the softest tissue of dead animals because it is the easiest to first remove. The intestines and organs spill out after gas has built up in the carcass and the pressure creates a split that appears to some as a neat clean incision. There is little to no blood because by the time this happens the heart has stopped pumping, the blood has coagulated and what little blood that may have spilled is consumed by insects. The char like marks on the grass are most likely from from a heavy damp body laying on it in the heat. Ever seen what happens to grass after you use and remove a slip and slide? Now think what would happen to it if a big fucking animal was laying on it for hours. All of these natural actions happen quickly in the summer when insect activity is high, heat causes gas to form more quickly and heat plus heavy wet shit kills grass. Alien experiment reports also increase during the summer months. This can be explained by saying aliens love summer or the heat turns humans into fucking morons.

Why is it that we seem to think aliens only when Cows are attacked? Some punks are cracking up after what they did to these poor cows!

bugs did it, no big mystery... they go for the soft parts first, they eat the blood, and their tiny mouths end up making cuts that look very precise. this is no kind of mystery.

it's BUGS, for christ's sake... take the time to actually check a reputable source that asks real scientists.

You obviously know nothing about the dozens (dare i say hundreds) of unexplainable cattle mutilations in the last 40 years around the country. It's always "oh it's just a satanic cult or a psycho". Yes, wielding some advanced laser cutting technology in the middle of a cornfield.

This happened in AZ several years ago, and ranchers spread the theory that it was some satanic cult ritual... They didnt get to the alien notion...How about its just CRAZY F***ERS?!!

Should the quote about the vet have a [sic] or was this a mistake on the writer/editor's part.

you think that's MORE plausible?  Pull you heads out !   only idiots think aliens are not plausible.  grow up humanity

Very odd. I'm leaning towards the total freaking psycho theory.

"It is pointless to note that incisions to a carcass by the teeth of  predators or scavengers often resemble knife cuts. It is pointless to note that bloating often leads to skin splitting in straight lines resembling incision and exposing internal organs. It is of no use to point out that there is little or no blood oozing from the wounds because blood settles, the heart does not pump when an animal is dead, and insects devour the blood that does spill out. And it is certainly pointless to describe the experiment done by the Washington County (Arkansas) Sheriff's Department. They placed a dead cow in a field and had observers watch what happened over the next 48 hours. When they reported that bloating led to incision-like tears in the skin and that blowflies and maggots had cleaned out the soft tissue so that the carcass looked exactly like those that had been attributed to aliens or satanic cultists, they were generally ignored by the community of true believers."

tl;dr - let your cow sit dead in a field for a couple days and bugs will do this -- no big mystery.

@fiverx313 If it were simply bugs alone, It's doubtful that the mutilations would be isolated to properties owned by the woman herself. And using the "bugs did it" argument dosen't explain the number of animals dead. SO are you implying you that a flock of ravenous bugs are going around killing cattle and eating them? Doubtful.

It's obvious this woman is doing the mutilations herself, probably with the help of a ranch hand, for attention. Notice that the "other bovines discovered  in similar states" also belonged to her. The isolated nature of the mutilations to her alone is enough to raise suspicion. I imagine if one were to investigate her house(s) and internet she would display an interest in Aliens, probably bordering on obssession.

She or a ranch hand kills the cows...bugs eat them.

case solved. another attention seeking gloryhound wastes a lot of media time and attention that could be devoted to more worthy causes. (like missing children and other victims of Real Crimes.)

stranger_than_camus
stranger_than_camus

@Marc Sova and in dozens (dare I say hundreds) of those cases most of the property owners in question were alien fanatics and/or had something to gain from an "alien mutilation" occurring on their property.

In many of the instances the ranchers charged money for people to visit the "alien sites" and used that money to get rich or bail themselves out of trouble with the banks or be freed from other debts. (Why no one ever points out the obvious greedy attention seeking angles in favor of the extraordinary is beyond me.)

fiverx313
fiverx313

@Caiger you can look up the facts of biology on any site you wish -- you just don't care to. if you want to believe in romantic alien cattle mutilations, or terrible psychopaths that's your business... but it's just nature.

fiverx313
fiverx313

@stranger_than_camus @fiverx313 generally, this tends to happen when a cow drops dead and no one notices for a couple days. i'd say a neglectful owner is probably a more likely explanation than a psychotic cow mutliator. :)
