There's been another homicide in the city of St. Louis, after a notably violent weekend that involved eight separate shootings.

Maurice Todd, the latest homicide victim in the city, was found in the rear yard of his north St. Louis home, at 9:50 a.m. on Sunday, police say. He was 56-years-old and is the 63rd homicide victim in the city this year.

He had suffered stab wounds to his chest and by the time cops arrived, it was too late. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Police have no information to offer about possible suspects in this latest murder.

He lived on the 1700 block of Annie Malone Drive, police say.

Just a day prior, police responded to a south St. Louis home and found a woman lying dead in her bed. The investigation is still ongoing in that case, but police say that it appears this woman, India Randall, 23, was a murder victim.

Later that day, Cedrick Franklin, 22, was shot to death inside a north St. Louis restaurant, one of six shootings that plagued the city on Saturday. The following day police responded to two more shootings in addition to this stabbing case that left Todd dead.

Here's the full SLMPD incident report on the stabbing.

Chicago legalizes medical marijuana while the only thing getting higher in this state is the body count. Never been so tempted to leave this shit hole state before in my life.
