Want to see inside Claire McCaskill's D.C. apartment without leaving St. Louis?

The Missouri senator is selling her two-bedroom condo at 400 Massachusetts Avenue NW in March, and her real estate agents have put a photo tour up online.

Rob Carter of Century 21 Redwood Realty will list the property but haven't yet announced the price, according to D.C. real estate blog UrbanTurf.

"I really love the layout, [especially the] two master suites," McCaskill tells UrbanTurf. "Our living space is bright and open and feels intimate for a few but have the capacity to seat many for parties."

That brightness comes from the condo's thirty windows lining the foyer, living and dining rooms. If her apartment were a few stories higher, she'd have a view of the U.S. Capitol building just a mile south.

Look at all those windows!
The condo also has two walk-in closets, laundry and an underground parking space.

You can see the capitol building and the Washington Monument from her rooftop pool.

I'm fairly confident that she is independently wealthy outside of her govt money. Actually I'm 100% confident.

We are clearly paying senators too much money. All they do is hire staff to write the laws, and listen to political advisers and campaign fund raisers who take pools to decide how they should vote.

RFT, how about some real journalism rather than just reading the P-D. Find out who is really paying for her place.
