Furious at Getting Cut Off, Driver Attacks Man, Slices Face and Arms: Police

Police are investigating an assault by Ted Drewes on South Grand.
St. Louis Metropolitan Police are investigating a cutting at a gas station in the 4200 block of South Grand Boulevard, across the street from Ted Drewes Frozen Custard, Sunday morning.

The 23-year-old unnamed victim told police he was at a gas station at 6:30 a.m. when the suspect approached him and accused him of cutting him off while driving on Grand, according to police.

The gas station is across the street from the South Grand Ted Drewes.
After a verbal argument, the suspect cut the man on the face and arms with an unknown object. The victim was treated at the hospital, where his condition was listed as stable.

Police said the victim does not want to involve police in the assault case.

The victim stated he was at a gas station in the above location when he was approached by the suspect, who accused him of cutting him off while driving on Grand. The victim and the suspect were engaged in a verbal argument when the suspect cut the victim on the face and arms with an unknown object. The victim responded to the hospital to be treated and was listed as stable. The hospital contacted this department when the victim indicated he did not want to involve police. The investigation is ongoing.
