Indeed it should
It goes against reproductive society, pissing and moaning about it does not make it acceptable to everyone. Instead of provoking an issue live your life.
It's Missouri- not really known for anything progressive or ethical forefront leaders on anything but stadiums.
It's BEEN time. Until divorce is protested (never happens) the anti love campaign needs to end. Let love rule!!!!
Everything is going to hell anyway.
Rhetorical question. Of course the answer is that by stirring populist anger, conservative politicians can get elected.
No not at all
YES. God. Why don't we just go ahead and cut out the middle man, start performing the same-sex marriages here? ~.~ C'mon, MO, get your act together. We're falling behind the curve.
duhhh yea..stop being so backwards.
Polygamy, sure...doesn't effect anyone not choosing to be involved. Beastiality? Since animals can't give consent, no. Sharia? The whole point is getting peoples backwards religious tradition out of politics, so that's no.
Not sure if trolling, or just a terrible human being.
Stupid law to begin with
I think the court cases are quickly coming down the pipe that will strike down all state level bans under equal protection and not a minute too soon.
If we let the ban go then pigs will want to marry goats, white will be the new black, the sky will fall, and taxes will go out the window. There is no real argument against gay people getting married except the argument for discrimination.
At first I read that as "10-year-olds ban same-sex marriage" Then I thought ,yeah that sounds about right. Then I thought, nope, too insulting to 10-year-olds.
Then why not polygamy... beastiality. .... and sharia? If everything goes why not?
It is none of our business!
Given the rate of divorce for straight marriages I don't think we have the right to tell anyone who or how to love.
It's time for government to get out of marriage completely
So you can marry your cousin, but not your gay lover? What if they are gay cousins? Which law do they follow?
